Regarding a stop-over in Dubai — I flew from India to Oslo, Norway — I had a 4-hour stopover in Dubai — I did have to reclaim my luggage, have it scanned, and give it back — very similar when flying to US and connecting to another flight within the US… same baggage tag, same flights, not staying in Dubai, not legally entering Dubai with a Visa, just claiming luggage/scan/ and give it back to the baggage check — very fast and effortless; however, I did not have any sex toys — but if I had, they would have been discovered and I have no idea what would happen, knowing they are illegal. I have read about passengers being arrested for having a prescription drug that is illegal in Dubai – and some waited for 3 years or more for a trial. If you have a prescription drug, or any drug (even non prescription in your own country), get your doctor to list it on a prescription and what it is used for – and carry copies of these prescriptions so there is no doubt, and that should even prevent possible issues in other countries where the drug is illegal… this goes for even just passing through a country and leaving for another destination without leaving the airport.

When in Dubai, put your phone in a zipper bag and turn on one of the many vibrator apps available.

Hey there, I would imagine that your luggage should be transferred straight over to your connecting flight, so shouldn’t be scanned therefore making you safe to travel with a toy. However, I would suggest calling your airline just in case and asking for their advice. We couldn’t imagine anything worse than a confiscated sex toy!
